The Elite 4040 Hopper window has a sash that tilts out at the top – making it an ideal choice for basement window applications. The 4040 has a multi-chambered sash and frame that is fusion-welded for strength and weather resistance.

1″ insulated glass

Elite 4040 hopper windows have 1″ insulated glass made with the best thermal air spacer insulating system available. Dual flexible weather stripping helps keep out air and wind.

Easy Installation

Like the entire Elite line, a groove around the master frame allows creative stacking and mulling of multiple units and the easy application of supplemental profiles. The Elite 4040 is available with or without an integral nailing fin.

Polycarbonate Security Glazing Panel

Increase security with our polycarbonate glazing panel. This panel has triple wall construction and internal members for tremendous strength and impact resistance, which is especially important in basement window applications.
